Common questions

What should an agency client onboarding process include?

A signed contract and billing setup, secure access to the client’s accounts and brand assets, a discovery call, agreed goals, KPIs and reporting, an agreed approval process, and a kickoff with a clear first plan.

How should an agency get access to client accounts?

Ask the client to add the agency as a user or partner in each platform, such as their ad, analytics and website accounts. It avoids shared passwords and lets the client remove access when the work ends.

Why do agency client relationships go wrong early?

Usually because scope, goals, approvals or reporting weren’t agreed at the start. Writing them down during onboarding gives both sides the same expectations.

Can Wikidoc help my agency onboard clients the same way?

Yes. Record each onboarding step once as an SOP, map the process with who owns each hand-off, and keep each client’s preferences in a playbook so a new account manager can pick it up.
