Avoid managing onboarding in a spreadsheet

Assigning training by role, tracking refreshers, and chasing completion is tedious manual work. Wikidoc assigns programs by role and tracks progress automatically so you can focus on getting new hires productive.

Fitness Studios

An instructor induction covering studio welcome, the class formats, then the assessment, auto-assigned the day someone joins the cover list.

Restaurants & Pubs

Front of house, kitchen, and bar each get their own program with due dates set at enrollment, so week one stops depending on who is on shift.

Professional Services

The graduate intake runs again every January without rebuilding it: firm overview, the method modules, then an exam. Same program, new cohort.

Watch the column, not the roster
Skincare Clinics

A program per protocol, role-gated, so managers watch the at-risk column instead of chasing people the week the roster goes out.

Before Wikidoc, onboarding lived in a spreadsheet that only one person understood. We were chasing people to finish training and guessing who was overdue for a refresher. Now every role has its own program, and Wikidoc tracks completion so we don't have to.

Common questions

What is a training program in Wikidoc?

A program is a structured track built from your training modules plus rich sections - a welcome video, a rich-text company overview, an embedded org chart, module groups, and an FAQ. It's the difference between a pile of lessons and an onboarding journey.

How does auto-enrollment work?

Programs target roles - for example Engineer or Support. When someone with a matching role joins your org, they're enrolled automatically with the program's due date. Admins and managers can also assign or remove individual members at any time.

Can I reuse existing training modules?

Yes - that's the design. Module groups reference your existing training modules, so nothing is duplicated. Update a module once and every program that includes it serves the new version.

Who can create and manage programs?

Admins, managers, and editors can create, edit, and publish programs. Assigning employees and viewing analytics is reserved for admins and managers. Everyone - including viewers - can complete programs as a learner.

How do learners experience a program?

Learners see their enrolled programs in My Programs with progress and due dates. Opening a program walks them through its sections in order - video, readings, modules, FAQ - and module completions roll up into overall program progress.
